TASTE is an independent foundation providing services to producers and retailers who wish to meet the increasing demand for sustainable fruit and vegetables. Since 2001, TASTE assists small-scale producers to become a professional player on the world market of agricultural produce. TASTE provides services in Organisational Development, Quality and Technical Development, Access to Finance (investments and trade finance), Access to Markets, and Supply Chain Development.

| · | Imbedded organization closely linked with producers, exporters, importers and retail sector, with solid understanding of all aspects of the value chain; |
| · | Wide network of partners in various countries, both in the North and the South (service providers, consultants, knowledge institutions, development agencies). |
TASTE manages development programmes in Central America, South America, Africa and Asia. The foundation is funded by non-governmental development agencies including Solidaridad and ICCO; private funding agencies such as DOEN Foundation, Rabobank Foundation and LOTEX Foundation; and public subsidy programmes such as those of the European Union and the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs.
