TASTE (Technical Assistance for Sustainable Trade and Environment)
The demand for sustainable fruit and vegetables in Europe is growing rapidly. Whereas the Fairtrade Labelling Organizations International (FLO) label and the organic label were the only certifications with social and environmental standards for many years, nowadays other established certifications include social and/or environmental paragraphs in their standards. Also, new concepts in the field of socially and environmentally friendly production are introduced. TASTE is specialised in the tropical fruit and vegetable sector and meets the search for support of producers, importers and retailers who want to adhere to these sustainability standards; and at the same time, want to profit from these dynamics and market opportunities. Together, we share the same challenge and passion: that it is possible to build fair and responsible economic relations by doing business.
